Sound-reactive installation, 300 LEDs on 4m sculpture. Gallery 10-20 lux ambient.
Linear PWM (sound amp to brightness) too harsh. Peaks burn eye, mids wash out.
Gamma correction tables (2.2) for perceptual brightness, but math hurts. Simple lookup table I can paste into Arduino?
Also: how do artists handle cold-vs-warm shift when WS2812B dim? Goes blue-ish at low brightness, clashes with warm gallery lights.
