Re: Field-tested: which cheap sensors actually survive 1+ year deployed

<t>Adding from 3D printing side: enclosure design matters for sensor longevity. Most of my outdoor BME280 builds use a Stevenson-screen-style multi-layer shade. Direct sunlight on a BME280 reads 5-8 degrees high, easy.<br/>
<br/>
STL design tip: print the shade plates separately, glue together with ...

Filament for ESP32 cases that sit in direct sun, what survives?

<r>Outdoor IoT enclosure prints in PETG yellow after 6 months sun. Looking for upgrade.<br/>
<br/>
Tested so far:
<LIST><s>[list]</s>
<LI><s>[*]</s>PETG: yellowed visibly, still rigid</LI>
<LI><s>[*]</s>ABS: dimensional issues, warping during print, but better UV</LI>
<LI><s>[*]</s>ASA: best UV ...

Re: 🔊 3D DIY Soundbox — Arduino Project Idea

<t>Yung bass response sa 3D-printed enclosures, suffers ang ganda pag PLA. PETG slightly better for acoustics. For next iteration, try mo ng resonance damping, fill yung hollow space with sand or rubber granules between two skins.<br/>
<br/>
Yung electronics ay great pero yung housing limits the ...

PETG vs ABS for outdoor electronics enclosures — settled?

<r>Sumusubok akong gawing waterproof yung outdoor IoT projects. Sun, rain, occasional dirt. Both PETG and ABS rated for outdoor, ang benta ng filament suppliers.<br/>

What I've found so far:

<LI><s>[*]</s>PETG: easier to print, slightly more flexible (good for impacts ...

Hey all, Danny dito sa Pasig

3D printing hobbyist, mas integration with electronics ngayon yung focus ko. Bambu A1 Mini yung daily driver, may dalawang Ender pa rin sa side for redundancy. Happy to help kung sino kelangan ng custom enclosures, brackets, or mounts, just send me dimensions.

Re: Affordable kits para sa 30 students — Arduino starter, ACEBOTT, o iba pa?

<t>Adding sa "lost parts problem" ni Mark, naga-3D print ako ng component organizers for personal projects, same idea works for classroom kits. Tray na may labeled circular slots for each part. Students can see at a glance kung kulang ang anything before turning the kit back in.<br/>

Re: Restoring an old transistor radio — sourcing ferrite rod antennas locally

<t>Walang akong source ng ferrite for you Tito Elmer, pero kung kelangan mo ng custom mounting bracket once you find one, send me the dimensions. Kaya ko i-3D-print yung holder in PLA or PETG, free na lang, just measurements.<br/>

For old radio restorations, masaya ring i-restore yung wood ...
