WS2812B vs SK6812 outdoor signage, what holds up?

Quoting client for 6m outdoor Open sign, Pasay, full sun + rain.
WS2812B IP65 strips work, marami akong na-install. PH humidity ruins them after 8-12 mo. Silicone tube fogs, water gets in.
SK6812 IP67 promises better seal. ~30% pricier. Real-world experience over 1+ years?
For 3+ year outdoor, better option than addressable strips? Channel letter modules with constant-current drivers maybe?
