Every week, 5-10 customers blame device when culprit is cable.

Top failures:
  • Internal shield break near connector strain relief, intermittent
  • GND wire frayed, charges slow or device says 'not authentic'
  • Cheap charging-only cable used for data, customer thinks USB port broken
  • Counterfeit Type-C, missing CC resistors, fast-charge fails
Shop trick: keep one 'known good' Type-C, Type-B, Micro on workbench. First diag step swap cable. Saves hours.

Buying cables? Pay PHP 150-300 for branded, skip the PHP 50 ones for anything you care about.
