For sculpture pieces where wiring is intentionally visible (not hidden inside enclosure), should joints look:
- Neat, shiny, minimal flux residue — like factory PCB
- Slightly messy, with visible flux halos — more 'crafty' aesthetic
- Sculptural, intentional drips — almost like jewelry
Also: lead vs lead-free for visible joints. Lead-free looks more matte/dull. Lead is shinier but environmental issues. Compromise?
