Semester break coming, FPV packs idle 2 months. Heard storing at full charge kills them.
What I read:
- Storage voltage: 3.8-3.85V per cell
- Full charge (4.2V) long-term = capacity loss + swelling risk
- Fully drained (below 3.0V) = permanent damage
My charger (ISDT Q6) has storage mode, discharges/charges to 3.85V.
Questions:
- Storage bag or fireproof box needed for 2 months idle?
- Check voltage monthly or set and forget?
- Temperature matter? Aircon room vs hot bodega?
FPV veterans, real long-term storage habits?
