Yo guys! After mga 8 months of saving, finally na-finish ko my first proper FPV build. Sharing yung parts list and what I learned kasi maraming beginner posts ako nakikita.

Parts list (~PHP 8000 total):
  • Frame: Source One V5 5-inch (clone, hindi original)
  • Motors: 4x EMAX Eco 2207 1700KV
  • ESCs: 4-in-1 30A Bluejay
  • FC: SpeedyBee F405 V3
  • VTX: Akk FX2 Mini, switchable 25/200/500/1000mW
  • Camera: Caddx Ratel 2 (1200TVL)
  • Receiver: ELRS 2.4GHz
  • Props: Gemfan Flash 5152S
Lessons learned the hard way:
  • Budget mo always +20% para sa replacement parts. Crashed 3x on first day, 1 motor + 1 camera lost
  • Yung Bluejay firmware on the ESCs makes a HUGE difference vs default BLHeli, smoother sa low throttle
  • ELRS over Crossfire kasi cheaper and almost as good for line-of-sight flying
  • Use a smoke stopper on first power-up, seriously
Flying it sa nearby field for practice. Na-narealize ko late, may regulations pala about altitude and registration sa CAAP for drones over 250g, researching that na rin.

Any tips for next steps? Currently learning acro mode, hindi pa stable yung flips ko haha.
