Restoring a 1960s Sanyo tube radio, before-after

Update on the radio mentioned in another thread. Got the ferrite antenna sourced (thanks sa community tip on Deeco Surplus, found one).
Other replacements needed:
Total cost: PHP 1800 in parts. Sentimental value: irreplaceable, dad's old radio.
Side question for the tube radio crowd: what's the right way to clean the tuning capacitor plates? Some dust accumulated over 60 years. Compressed air OK or risk damaging the vanes?
Other replacements needed:
- All electrolytic caps (5 of them, all dried out)
- Volume potentiometer (scratchy beyond recovery)
- One output transistor (germanium 2SB54, found NOS on Lazada)
Total cost: PHP 1800 in parts. Sentimental value: irreplaceable, dad's old radio.
